Saturday Morning

Very little of interest happening here in Louisiana. Kind of glad we are having a slow, uneventful period. The next few months will be hectic, so the down time is welcome.

Biggest news...Jared and Sarah have had to postpone their wedding. Not enough time to get in all of the required pre-marital counseling sessions before the original planned date. Not sure when the new date will be.

Got all my grocery shopping done today. Yay!

Paid most of the bills that are due in May. The rest of them (satellite and home phone/internet) haven't arrived yet and I still don't have those set up online.

Sprint annoyed me by "improving" their site. Biggest "improvement" was that I couldn't make an online payment. GGRRRR! Mailed them a check, but not happy about it.

Social Studies...C Not too happy with the C, but it's a definite improvement over the 39% she had after the first week of the grading period.

One more 6 week grading period before summer break. One more science experiment. 15 more AR points. Two more band concerts, one for each girl. Hopefully 0 more projects to do. Hurry up summer break!

Picked up Amber's flute from the music shop today. Ray had turned it in on Monday to be repaired. There was a key that was sticking and since there was no band class this week due to testing, it seemed like a good time to get it fixed. Bill was about $200 for the key repair, replacing a spring, and tuning the instrument. Thank goodness for insurance! All we had to pay was the $15 for oil and a new music book, her's was falling apart.

Went out to dinner at Ryan's today. I was too exhausted to cook.

Afterward, stopped at Wal Mart. Jazmyne needed hairspray. Also found a mirror for the bird cage, super soaker squirt guns for both girls, The Blind Side on blue ray, and the cutest bathing suit for Amber. It's green camo, trimmed with pink. Love it!

Going tomorrow to see Clash of the Titans. Been looking forward to seeing it since I saw the first trailer for it.
