Lots of random thoughts and happenings this week. Some good. Some annoying. Some amusing. Some neutral. Over all though, a very good week.
* First...a mini rant. The 2010 Census Form. Fill it out people! It's not a dark conspiracy by the evil US government to illegally obtain information about you or your family. Have a US birth certificate? Government document. They know your age, your birthday, your race. Paying property taxes? Where do you think that money goes? They know if you own the home. Have a driver's license? Ever filed taxes? Have a social security card? If the answer is yes, then you have already given way more information than what they are asking on the census form. Not filling it out has one result...you are creating a need for more census workers and more time spent obtaining the information you have stubbornly refused to write on the form, making the whole project more expensive than it already is. At the very least, fill in the number of people living in your home. That is all you are legally required to submit. My two cents.
* Recently discovered that my Dad has had two very scary incidents involving himself and a new bull he purchased. Both were potentially fatal. Both were very damaging to him physically. He has assured that a third incident will not happen. This was achieved with the help of a loaded shotgun. Good-Bye Mr. Bull.
* Watched "My Sister's Keeper" with Jaz. I cried like a baby through the whole thing.
* Amber finally finished "Farmer Boy" and aced the AR test. YEA her!
* Hubby is home from the field.
* Plane tickets are bought for Jared and Sarah! Ten days until baby snuggles.
* Don't think Paige is going to make it for Easter. She started a new job and getting the time off is unlikely at best.
* Not really a huge deal though. We will be going back to Lawton for Jared and Sarah's wedding on May 1. Will see her and Landyn then.
* Quilts for the grandkids are coming along. Two down, two to go.
* Wrist has been mostly pain free this last week. I think it is pretty much mended. Still trying not to over work it though.
* Made mutant sugar cookies with Amber Saturday night. Those suckers were HUGE! LOL.
* I am becoming a big fan of Wilton's comfort grip cookie cutters. I have three Christmas ones and two Easter ones. I want MORE!!!!!
* Taught the girls to play dominos. Jazzy learned too quickly and beat us all. Brat!
Time to go earn my keep. Have a good week bloggy world.
