A mostly pleasant week, except for a nasty cold. My head is stopped up, my ears are stuffed, my nose alternates between being completely clogged and running like crazy. My eyes are burning, itchy and leaky. Throat hurts, coughing, and sneezing my head off. Whole body aches, I am exhausted and my head hurts. Besides all that...I am fine.
Between doses of Nyquil, some rather pleasant events happened...
1. Taxes are filed. There will be a hefty deposit placed in our account very soon.
2. Got confirmation that Kyra and family will be here for Easter! YEA! Ray's birthday happens to fall on Easter Sunday this year, so we will have a double celebration.
3. Paige sent me a cute picture of Landyn playing on his rocking Tigger. He's getting so big.
4. Started back on my healthy diet regimen last Sunday. I have lost 3 pounds.
5. "Dinner with a Perfect Stranger" by David Gregory. A wonderful and quick read.
6. Nyquil...making it possible for the miserably sick to get some sleep.
7. Homemade get well card made for me by Jazzy. She can be so sweet sometimes, and so devilish at other times.
8. Indianapolis Colts beat the Jets! Yea! On to the Super Bowl!!!!
9. Kids spent the day in Alexandria with a friend, Ray left for an extended stay out in the field, I spent the day drugged up on the sofa, watching a Jurrassic Park marathon...all three movies back to back. Love those movies.
10. Kyra sent me a money order for the remaining amount that they owed us for the van. We had only asked them for a token amount, and honestly didn't really care if they ever paid it. Was nice though to see them being so responsible. Was also nice to have a little extra cash in the mailbox, especially after paying the astronomical cell phone bill we had this month.
