For some reason that quote just cracked me up.
Had a lovely summer Sunday. Life is good, things are on track.
* Went to the lake today. First we went to the MWR area. Total waste of time. Very trashy looking. Went up the road to the State Park. Much better. Played in the swimming area for a couple hours then drove through the park just looking. They have some nice cabins reasonably priced. We are planing to rent one sometime soon for a weekend.
* My husband surprised me on the way home from the lake. We were discussing what we wanted to do next weekend. Apparently we are going to Texas to visit Kyra and the grand daughters. Yay! Leaving here Friday after the girls get home from school, coming home Monday morning.
* Got my Sunday phone call from Jared. Love that boy! He's such a goof, but a very lovable goof.
* Dairy Queen Tagalong blizzards are awesome! Yum! Jaz had the thin mint one again and Amber had her usual oreo blizzard with hot fudge added. Ray wanted a banana split but they didn't have any bananas. He ended up with one of the earthquake brownie sundaes. How can an ice cream joint run out of bananas? Aren't they like the #3 thing on the list of things you need if you run said establishment... 1.Ice cream 2.Hot fudge 3.Bananas!
* My husband looks so darn sexy on his Harley!
