Nothing Much

You can never learn less; you can only learn more. - R. Buckminster Fuller

* On the drive home from Wal Mart today we had the most interesting conversation about our most favorite and least favorite subjects in school. Some were what I expected, some were quite the surprise.

Ray...Favorite: History, Least Favorite: Reading...No surprises there
Me...Favorite: Reading, Least Favorite: History...Kind of ironic don't ya think?
Jazmyne...Favorite: Band, Least Favorite: Reading...a bit surprised on that one
Amber...Favorite: Science (no surprise) Least Favorite: PE (big surprise)

* My poor husband has to work all weekend. Of course, since he's pretty much been off for the last two weeks, it's kind of hard to find much sympathy for him. I do feel bad that he will miss most of tomorrow's football games and he didn't really get to do anything fun with the kids like he had planned. He goes to the field on Tuesday and won't be home until next Sunday.

* Jazmyne finally found a ride home from Tuesday's football game. This is the first game the band will be performing in and for awhile it looked like she may miss it due to conflicting schedules. But all is good now.

* Started watching Primeval season one. Very cool show. Going to order season two soon.

* About a month ago we had our first fundraiser. Amber brought home one of those magazine sale booklets. She was to fill out all 12 coupon thingies with the names of family and friends that may purchase magazines. We filled it out simply so she could get the cool sunglasses for returning a completed booklet. If by chance she sold 2 subscriptions, she would get a loony toons t-shirt. Wasn't expecting to sell any, except those that we would buy. She has sold 7 subscriptions so far. WOW!

* Reeces Peanut Butter Pumpkins are almost as good as the egg shaped ones that I can get during the Easter season.

* I got new spider earrings! I love spiders. This is the only time of the year that I can stock up on spider accessories and such. Looking for socks, but there were no spider ones.

* Baked the yummiest banana bread the other day. So moist and flavorful! Thank you Taste of Home magazine.

* Finally was able to find some more of the Orajel mouth rinse. Tooth is all better now, but wanted to keep some on hand just in case. That stuff is awesome.

Ok, off to watch another episode of Primeval before bed.
